Flashlight Mounts

Magnetic and rail-mounted hardware for hunting lights — sold from a single set.

A dependable flashlight mount keeps a hunting lamp locked to the rifle, so the beam stays where the shot goes — through recoil, through brush, and through a long night in the field. KANDAR has been manufacturing hunting optics and mounting hardware since 1996, and this page covers the flashlight mount formats we produce for importers, distributors, outdoor retailers and private-label brands.

What Defines This Product Group

Flashlight mounts fall into two broad families, and the right choice depends on how the lamp is used:

  • Magnetic mounts use a magnetic interface to hold the light body. They suit quick attach-and-release setups where the lamp is fitted, repositioned or removed frequently — for example, moving a hunting light between firearms or between a rifle and a scan position.
  • Rail-mounted designs clamp the light to a rail interface for a fixed, repeatable position. They suit shooters who want the lamp to stay zeroed in relation to the optic and barrel rather than being handled between outings.

Mounting position matters as much as the mount type. Barrel-mounted lights sit close to the bore but add mass to the barrel and can be affected by barrel heat and flex; scope-mounted lights keep the lamp clear of the barrel but depend on the integrity of the scope rings and rail beneath them. Buyers should match the mount to the rifle's rail system, tube or body diameter, and the weight of the light being carried.
